About the LGBTQ+ Chat Room
The LGBTQ+ chat room is an inclusive space for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community and allies. It is one of chatuvo's community rooms, designed so queer people can find each other easily and talk openly.
The room is open and unmoderated. The tone is set by the people in it. Some users come to flirt and look for dates, others want to make friends, talk about their experiences, share coming-out stories, or just hang out in a space where they feel understood. You can join the public conversation or click on a username to start a private, encrypted chat.
chatuvo is anonymous, so you do not need to create a profile or share personal information to enter. Pick a nickname and you are in. This makes the room a low-pressure place to talk, whether you are out or not.
The room is 18+ only. Keep it respectful. Homophobia, transphobia, and harassment will get you blocked by other users fast. If someone bothers you, block them with one click and they disappear from your view.

The LGBTQ+ room is the general community room. chatuvo also has dedicated rooms for gay men and for lesbian women. This room is for everyone: lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, allies, and anyone who wants to be in a queer-friendly space.
The room works like every other room on chatuvo. Messages are distributed over the decentralized Gossip network, with no central server storing the conversation. Your messages live on your device and the devices of the people you are talking to, and the network eventually purges them.
Open and Anonymous
chatuvo does not ask for your gender, orientation, or identity. Anyone can enter any room. The LGBTQ+ room exists so queer people and allies have a dedicated place to find each other.
Because the room is anonymous, you do not need to come out, create a profile, or share any personal information to join. Pick a nickname and you are in. This makes the room a safe space to explore conversations, whether you are out, questioning, or not ready to share.
Respect and Safety
The LGBTQ+ room is a community space. Most users are here for friendly conversation, support, or dating. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
Homophobia, transphobia, and harassment are not welcome. If someone is hostile, block them. Blocking is instant and permanent from your side. The more people who block a problem user, the less their messages reach the room.
The room is 18+ only. Block anyone who appears to be underage and do not engage.
