About the Trans Chat Room
The trans chat room is a space for trans people and allies to connect, share experiences, and find support. It is one of chatuvo's community rooms, designed so trans people can find each other easily and talk openly.
The room is open and unmoderated. The tone is set by the people in it. Some users come to talk about transition, others want to make friends, share experiences, or just hang out in a space where they feel understood. You can join the public conversation or click on a username to start a private, encrypted chat.
chatuvo is anonymous, so you do not need to create a profile or share personal information to enter. Pick a nickname and you are in. This makes the room a low-pressure place to talk, whether you are out or not, and whether you want support or just some company.
The room is 18+ only. Keep it respectful. Transphobia, harassment, and unwanted explicit content will get you blocked by other users fast. If someone bothers you, block them with one click and they disappear from your view.

The trans room is a dedicated space for trans people, non-binary people, and allies. chatuvo also has an LGBTQ+ room for the whole community. This room is more focused on trans-specific experiences, questions, and support.
The room works like every other room on chatuvo. Messages are distributed over the decentralized Gossip network, with no central server storing the conversation. Your messages live on your device and the devices of the people you are talking to, and the network eventually purges them.

Transphobia, harassment, and unwanted explicit content are not welcome. If someone is hostile, block them. Blocking is instant and permanent from your side. The more people who block a problem user, the less their messages reach the room.
